About Kring Kund

Adi Shakti Swaroop, the greatest saint of the twentieth century, Aghoreshwar Mahaprabhu, says that:  "the (Aghor) tradition of Siddhas in Kashi (Varanasi) is eternal. It is a tradition with a divine aura that originated with Shiva himself . 'The "Baba Keenaram Sthal, Kring-Kund', located in Varanasi, the religious capital of India, is universally recognized as the headquarters of the Aghor-tradition all over the world.  It is said about this place that here Lord Shiva, in the gross and subtle body, resides all the time. It is believed that this place has been in existence since the beginning of the creation of the universe. This penance place of many sages, including Maharishi Sumedha, had gone into a dormant state since the 6th century itself. In the 16th century, the human body of Lord Shiva, Aghoracharya Maharaj Shri Baba Keenaram Ji, re-awakened this place with his tenacity. Baba Keenaram Ji re-ignited the dhuni located here for continuous human welfare and blessed the existing kund (called Kring-Kund) with his tapobal (tenacity).

As a consequence, Dhuni (Sacred Ash) is the only offering here. Many calamities can be avoided by applying it on the head and accepting it in the form of prasad.

Through the strength of their devotion and dedication, thousands of people can always experience a miraculous transformation by taking a bath in this pool and being liberated from sorrow and pain.

Aghoreshwar Mahaprabhu, alias Avadhoot Bhagwan Ram ji, describes the glory of this place in detail. According to Aghoreshwar Mahaprabhu: "this place is a pilgrimage of pilgrimage. About the spiritual aura of this place, Aghoreshwar Mahaprabhu says: "Like this Kring-Kund, there is no other holy place in the entire solar system (universe) for the living or wandering of gods, goddesses, and sages. Aghoreshwar Mahaprabhu believes that every moment, many divine souls roam here in their subtle form. These divine spirits are so widespread that they can appear simultaneously at the same time in different places all over the world to spiritual practitioners who seek them". Shri Vishwanath Prasad Singh Asthana, the author of the world-famous Aghor literature, writes in his book, 'Aghor at a Glance',  that - "Here at Aghora Headquarter, 'Baba Keenaram Sthal, Kring-Kund', on the one hand, several public welfare rays continuously erupt from various sources, and on the other hand a direct route to Aghora Path is also available."
